Sustainable Stewardship of Resource at the Lebanese American University (LAU) means responsibly managing environmental, human and financial assets. LAU’s School of Pharmacy is part of the Erasmus+ funded Sustainable Wastewater Treatment for Hospitals (SWaTH) project, working with European and Lebanese institutions to enhance hospital wastewater management in Lebanon. This initiative aims to mitigate the environmental impact of medical wastewater while aligning with global best practices.

ACE developed a training program to build the capacities of photovoltaic (PV) technicians in the solar energy market. By producing certified and competent professionals, the program not only enhances the credibility of sustainable energy solutions but also encourages communities to invest in them, knowing they are installed and maintained by rained experts.

Academy of Continuing Education

Funded by the United States–Middle East Partnership Initiative, the Arab Institute for Women participated in the “Equality for Everyone: Gender Reform from Grassroots to Government” project. This project aimed at promoting universal parental leave and progressive childcare policies among Lebanese working parents while also promoting access to healthcare to disadvantaged women to overcome caregiving burdens.
