Since sustainable education begins with empowered educators, the Center for Innovative Learning (CIL) recognizes faculty as the foundation for cultivating a lasting culture of learning and innovation. As a key driver of Conscientious Education at LAU, the CIL empowers faculty to continuously evolve their teaching practices in ways that ensure educational excellence and sustainability. By fostering pedagogical innovation, the CIL equips educators with the tools and strategies needed to design dynamic, student-centered learning experiences. At the CIL, faculty is also trained for technology integration and multimedia education.

The Center offers frequent workshops and discussions to support this goal. During these events, teaching faculty is informed about strategic and innovative ways to enrich education at LAU. By ensuring faculty is caught up with the latest technological advancements and pedagogical tools, the CIL ensures educational sustainability and calibre. The Center also holds a yearly Faculty Fellows Program (FFP) where faculty participate in full-time training.
